Thaddeus W. Wendt, Esq.
Why Do I Represent People in Personal Injury Cases?
Have you ever read every page and every word of your insurance contracts? Have you ever compared that language to the advertisements you see on TV that infer that they are “here to help life go right”, “we know a thing or two because we have seen a thing or two”, “It’s good to be in good hands”, “like a good neighbor”, “actions speak louder”, “everything insurance should be”, etc? I have read every word of hundreds of insurance contract and I have compared them to what the insurance companies tell us in order to get us to pay their premiums. The differences hidden between what an insurance company says they will do and what the contracts actually requires them to do is significant and those differences are why I do what I do.
People involved in personal injury cases, especially those that do not fully understand the differences discussed above, are at a distinct disadvantage. On their own, they are expected to comply with whatever an insurance company demands that they do and have no leverage to negotiate a fair outcome. This is why it is so important that people find representation.
I have the experience dealing with: the differences between agents and adjusters; UIM and UM coverages; PIP applications, recorded statements, BI and property coverages; health insurance super liens; subrogation rights; and all the other technical terms and mechanisms that insurance companies use to delay, deny, and defend claims that you make when seeking a fair recovery.
I also enjoy my job because I know that our efforts on your case will make our community a safer place. Your case may expose system failure at a business. Your case can help to highlight unsafe practices within our community. Your case could also send a signal to our community that it is not okay to drive while distracted. Each case that I work on has the ability to make our community safer for all of us. Whether it be punishing dangerous conduct like texting while driving, ensuring that dangerous products are made safer, or changing a businesses’ irresponsible policies and procedures, the results our firm gets, can make a real difference on how people and businesses behave, making the community safer as a result.

“What impressed me most with the Attorneys at Feller & Wendt was their litigation skills. Most attorneys know the law but seldom go to court. Sure a settlement offer prior to trial is a welcome option but if the offer is unfair then what? And if a lawyers court-appearance...
I had a wonderful experience with Feller & Wendt and have recommended these great accident attorneys to friends and family. My personal attorney cared about me during the case and I knew he understood how important it was...
“I endorse this lawyer.”
“I endorse this lawyer. Thaddeus is an outstanding lawyer who is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him.”
